We are proud to participate in the Annual Ole Bull Music Festival and Summer Awards Concert
Dr. Inez Stewart Bull (1920-2010), concert pianist and coloratura soprano, was a lifelong New Jersey resident and a graduate of Juilliard and NYU. She and her mother, the late Aurora Stewart Bull, established the Ole Bull Music Festival and Awards Concert to honor the memory of their relative, Norwegian violinist, composer and folk hero, Ole Boremann Bull (1810-1880).
The annual Festival, held in Pennsylvania each fall, and the Summer Awards Concert held in New York, NY, provide opportunities for young people to perform and receive recognition for their work, and to network with other young musicians from within and outside of their communities. Inez dedicated her life, not only to music, but also to nurturing, educating and mentoring children and to improving Norwegian-American relations. The Inez S. Bull Foundation was formed in 2011 to continue her traditions.
Your tax-deductible contribution helps us continue our music education and youth performance programs.
